Welcome to our Music Ministry!  Enterprise First United Methodist Church believes that music is worship and plays a vital role in our worship services.  Opportunities are available for for all age groups and all talents.  If you like to sing or play an instrument, we invite you to become part of our worship ministry family.

Adult Choirs
The Chancel Choir provides traditional choral anthems for the 11:00 a.m. service.  This group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. and leads in worship each Sunday morning.  They perform two major works each year, one at Christmas and again at the Easter season.

The Ladies Ensemble leads in worship on a regular basis.  This is an auditioned group that rehearses at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The Men's Ensemble leads in worship on a regular basis.  This is an auditioned group that rehearses at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The Hallelujah Singers meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m., September - May.  They sing each week at one of the four nursing facilities in our community.  This group is open to anyone 55 or older.
Instrumental Music

The Adult Handbell Choir provides music for our worship services on a regular basis in addition to participating in special programs at Christmas and Easter.  This group is primarily comprised of advanced ringers utilizing five octaves of handbells and three octaves of hand chimes. They rehearse Tuesday evenings at 6:00 p.m.

The Four-in-Hand Handbell Choir is an advanced ringer choir and meets on Tuesdays at 5:15 p.m.

 
Children's Choirs

Our children are an important part of the music ministry at EFUMC.  All children’s choirs use graded material with emphasis placed upon worship, reading skills and musicianship.  Children’s choir is a part of *Wonderful Wednesday activities.

We have three children’s choirs that sing at various times throughout the year on Sundays. They meet on Wednesday afternoons during Wonderful Wednesday.  During this 2011-2012 season, they will perform at Christmas and also will be working on a musical to be performed May 23, 2012.

Tone Chimes for children in grades 1-3 meet at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays. 

Handbells for children in grades 4-6 meet at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Youth Choir

Our youth are a very important part of our church.  Through the Youth Choir, they will continue learning about worship and broadening their musical skills.  This group is made up of 7th-12th graders and will perform at various times of the year.  This choir will sing both traditional and contemporary music.  Youth Choir meets on Wednesdays at 4:15 p.m.
